Bio:

John J. Mayerhofer is Managing Director for our Northern California region from his office in Oakland, California. John works in the area of healthcare, financial advisory and litigation support services and has testified numerous times on valuation and economic damage issues. He specializes in strategic financial planning, business valuation, and other litigation support activities to hospitals, physician groups, and healthcare businesses. John holds additional licenses as a registered representative, a registered investment advisor, a life and health insurance agent and a real estate agent. 

Prior to his affiliation with The Financial Valuation Group, John provided strategic financial planning, business valuation and medical practice merger/acquisition consulting services to hospitals and health systems. John is the author of several articles relating to strategic planning, business valuation and litigation support. He teaches finance and economics at the university level and has participated in numerous seminars relating to business valuation and personal financial planning for physicians, financial planners and other professionals
